Lh Hotel Excel Roma Montemario - Rome

During our short stay, we were excited to explore the Vatican Museums and the Pantheon, both of which are just a quick bus ride away. The economy double room we stayed in was very comfortable and well-equipped. The surrounding area was nice and quiet, perfect for getting some rest after a long day of sightseeing. One highlight was definitely the outdoor pool, which was a great place for the kids to unwind, even though there was a small fee to use it.

Our stay was a fairly nice experience. We both liked it, the place is wonderful and suited fine.

Disappointing aspect was too small bathroom.

Not perfect, but worth it

The quadruple room was spacious and comfy,, the beds were really comfortable! The atmosphere was relaxing with quiet surroundings and helpful staff.

Location is a bit inconvenient,, requiring a 30-minute bus ride to the city center, and breakfast lacked variety, with cold eggs and poorly prepared milk.

The hotel is a bit off the center, you have to take a bus (25 minutes drive) to get to metro station. Also it was hard to find the hotel at the beginning. Pool: you have to wear a special hat (which costs 6 euro at the hotel) to enter the pool, and the towels cost 3 euro (you can't use towels from the room, only yours or borrowed) so better be prepared for it, otherwise one stay at pool can cost you 9 euro...
